Beginner Developers Web Site from Microsoft

Microsoft is attempting to harvest interest in programming with the opening of the online Beginner Developer Learning Center. It contains collections of examples and tutorials for anyone interested in Windows or Web development. There is also a special section built for kids to use and learn. This is an excellent resource for anyone looking to get their feet wet in either form of programming.

The Beginner Developer Learning Center is a centralized learning environment specifically targeted to beginning programmers. At this learning center, you can find content that starts with the very basics and guides which step you through the process to becoming a full fledged developer. All lessons are classified into Tiers of difficulty to assist you in making the right choice for your skill level.

It includes a learning path which starts with the absolute basics like how a Web browser works and builds on that with videos, tutorials, and downloadable sample projects using CSS, JavaScript, HTML, ASP.NET, VB, and C#.
