Microsoft announced the new Windows Live

What is Windows Live?
Your online world gets better when everything works simply and effortlessly together. That’s the basic idea behind Windows Live. So the things you care about – your friends, the latest information, your e-mails, powerful search, your PC files, everything – comes together in one place. This is a brand new Internet experience designed to put you in control. And this is just the beginning – you’ll see many more new services in the coming months.

Windows Live

Cool uh? A custom home page from MS.
Go watch it at live.com and read the real-time updated blog at CrunchNotes.

Remember to visit the “live ideas” to get a preview on new “live” products… “so new that they’re not even finished yet.

Great stuff from Microsoft… what a pity we’ve seen something similar before: netvibes!

PS how cute: “Firefox Users – Firefox support is coming soon. Please be patient :-) “

And, BTW, it doesn’t run on Safari. Wow, a personalized portal with search capability. I’ll bet no one ever thought of that before. Perhaps, M$ has a patent on this absolutely unique, never-seen-before-app.
