Though I am VERY busy during these days, I’ve found some time to read great stuff on my feeds and wtite about them in this post. I’m a reader of Asterisk, the blog of D. Keith Robinson, a “writer, designer, artist, publisher, etc. with a background in user-centered Web design, Web standards-based development and Web content.”
As I previously said, I came accross these two posts about entrepreneurship. The latest one is First or Best which is about being “the first” in building a product or a brand… or being “the best”… or being just “different”.
The isn’t much room for anything else. Sure, you can be second, or maybe third, and still do alright, but if you’re entering a market that is flooded with competition, you better damn well be the best or no one is going to pay you much attention.
Go give it a read. Interesting.
The second article (just a lil older) is Learning The Lessons of Entrepreneurship which I found even more interesting than the previous one: it’s a real example of a real business trying to make its way up to the top. Interesting stuff here too! A must read if you ever considered the idea of starting a business by your own.
