A brief introduction

Welcome to the new flipthedolphin.com. I’ll try to focus on 3 key factors: content, frequency and distribution. What I’m planning to do is to write about stuff everyone should care about. I’m talking about news (especially tech news). What kind of bra does my girlfriend wear is NOT a tipycal news you may find here (though you may be interested… but in that case you fall outside my target). And no, you won’t find any adult oriented content anymore. This site should be 100% safe for work

Content
Being a young and unexperienced dude, with no writing skills at all, I’ll try to scan the web for stuff I find pretty interesting (I have my sources and I’ll use every tech instrument I know to find cool stuff). Since my english capabilities are quite limited, you may find me doing heavy copy/paste works (at least I’ll be selecting and commenting great stuff for you). I may also review some software and some websites. I dig writing how-tos even if I find it pretty hard because of the language skills needed to do such a work. We’ll see.

Frequency
I won’t post daily. That’s a matter of fact. I’ve got a real life and this is not my full time job. I’m a student and I am quite busy. but I can tell you that I’m going to post at least twice a week. I may be posting even thrice or four times a week… the more I post, the more you should think of it as a gift. The motto is: quality twice a week is way better than crap everyday.

Distribution
Having moved my blog into the base directory of the server is a great step. Now you won’t see annoying “welcome pages” or stuff like that. Only content! Right now! Fast! I’ve tried to optimize the site to use less graphic elements than any previous blog I used to have. I’ve also written a page for my feeds. The layout of this site is quite simple and I’ll try to keep it as simple as I can. I may add some stuff like a better comment form (a simpler one to tell the truth) and some services like “recent posts”, “most viewed posts” and “related posts”. Feel free to link to me but please let me know if you do it so I can eventually link back to you.

That’s all. Thanks for your patience and welcome aboard.
